The people want relief from this ever increas ing tax burden, and we believe Mr. Pierce will now have the courage of his conviction to come and discuss openly this theme to which he has given much study and which the people would like to hear. We are writing Mr. Pierce asking him if he will n«>l come and discus« this measure upon which we are to vote, for or again«t, in the Novem ber election.
