Some friends had spent the even

left she accompanied them to their
car, spent several minutes outside
and when she went back in the
house «he was confronted with an

prowler and Mrs. Nemic met. the
burglar dropp«»d hi* gun picked it
up arid started talking.
.Mrs Nemic was too frightened to
listen to what he said, but she re-

and fled.

Mr. Netnic’s almence, and thinking
Mrs Nemic might have a consider
able sum of money on hand, promp

made at this home
