G A Griffin has the honor of
having pigs six months old that
dressed 265 pounds, which is a
credit to any farmer.
Mrs M C Gaines has changed
doctors again as she has I- -
treated by several who s-em-ni
to do her no good. She went t<
see a specialist in Corvallis last
week, and he tells her she has
muscular rheumatism and scar e
blood, but thinks he can soon
build her up to norma! health.
The Crabtre? Telephone Co
has a committee appointed to
looK out a route and estimate
damages to construct a commer­
cial telephone line from Crab­
tree to Scio in the near future.
Mrs Dora Bilyeu of L* banon
came down to visit her sister.
Mrs Griffin, for a few day». Mr
and Mrs Enoch Shelton of Scio
were out also a few day s ago to
see Mrs Griffin.
Our neighbors on this side of
the creek on the Crabtree road
are having social parties two or
three times a week, also a social
dance, and have a way up t me
among themselves as they are
run on the surprise style as in
day« of old when all was fun
and happiness.
