contest between the St. I’sul road and
the Harriman lines over territory to
be occupted by either interest in the
Facific NorthweaL This was decided
during the brief visit of Edward H.
Harriman in
Chicago
Wednesday.
While in hia private car, which stood
in the Bark Row station of the Illinois
Central road, Mr. Harriman was visit-

St. Paul road, and arrangements were
completed for the joint uae of certain
tracks by the SL Paul ami tha Harri­
man linea.
Although none of the officials into-
