May and James Morgan made a business trip to Albany last Friday. Rev. G. L. Southerland went to Brownsville Saturday and preached on Sunday. Mr. Nickerson and another gentle man of Lebanon were over last Fri day in relation to the new school building. Miller Morgan, of near Shedds station, was in this city last Friday, looking for some one who had sheep for sale. Messrs Henry Miller and Erank Dannale, two of Albany’s leading painters, were over figuring on the school house job last Saturday. P. O. Smith, J. J. Dafnes, V. B. Goins A. T. Powell, the editor of the P ress and others attended the Sibley-Warner speaking in Lebanon Monday. Workman were put to work clear ing of the debris from the vacant lot adjoining the Ramsey brick build ing, which adds materially to the appearance of that part of town. O. S. May and G. M. Coffee on Tuesday morning' could have been observed taking measurements along our streets, for the purpose of making a map plan of the city water mains, caps, hdtants, etc. Rev. Mr. Hylton, of Klickatat Wash., arrived in this city last Friday.
