thumped a few o f ’em. but
there were too many fo r me.

Just as I was expectin' to
feel a spear smack into me,

blacks veiled louder
than ever and rolled off my
back. Soon’s I could, I sat
up and looked around. W ell

hind-legs.
W hat a scrimmage that
was I Rangy was knockin’
th* hlucks and chasin' ’em
into th ’ Jungle. When th ’
last one of th* blacks had
disapeared Into th ’ jungle.
Rangy smoothed out his
whiskers, shook hands w ith
me and winked his eye. as
much to say, well, o l’-tlm er,
th a t was some row.
