MAN— DON’T SHOOT
Rain has been falling and the deer season is
opening. Every y ear in th is county one or m ore
persons have been sh o t for a deer. In practic
ally every case the shooting lias been due to
carelessness. D eer h u n ters are supposed to
look and see if th e anim al has horns— why not
look and see if he h as tw o legs and walks
upright.
This shooting prom iscuously into the brush

If it
keeps on deer h unting will be curtailed by law.
T he hunters owe it to them selves and to the
fellow h unters to be careful, and if they feel
th a t they are nervous and will shoot every time

had better sta y hom e and put in the w inter’s
