basketball team goes to Triangle Lake
Wednesday night.
Owing to the death of Mrs, Sheri­
dan's mother on Thursday of last
week there was no school In the up­
per grades of the Pleasant Hill public
school where Mr. Sheridan is princi­
pal.
The students of the eighth grade of
the Pleasant Hill public school met at
the home of Bonnie Jeane Tinker
Monday morning and listened to the
inaugural program and speeches on
Mrs. Wangelin's radio. Mrs. C. E.
Jordan and Mrs E. Y. S»»3ft and Ben
Forney also were present.
Mrs. Andy Olson received news of
the death of her brother. Albert.
Fauske, Thursday night February 28
at the veteran's hospital in Walla

several years He leaves a wife and
two small children.
The students of the Pleasant Hill
high school are busy with plows,
scrapers and teams improving their
grounds.
They plan on planting
shrubs and trees about the buildings
and are leveling a space near the
gyroaiasium for a tennis court.
