Work Is proceeding from both ends
of a section of 5 to 5 and oire half
miles of pavement between Goshm
and Creswell. The rock base will be
laid on a stuetch of about a mile aud
one half in some marshy ground In
the middle; and the rock will be left
o settle until spring; and then it
will be lewled and the paving laid.
