NOTICE TO WATER CONSUMERS.
1 It has come to our notice that
many water consumers in Springfield
are disregarding our rules in regard
to irrigation. The hours in which ir
rigation Is allowed is from 6 to 10 in
the morning and from 5 to 9 in the
evening. On account of the large
amount of water used at this time of
year, we will be compelled to shut
off the water of any one using it for
irrigation outside of these hours.

A Grateful Letter.
It is in trying conditions like that
of Naples, N. Y that proves the worth
of Chamberlain's Colic and Diarrhoa
Remedy. "Two years ago last sum
mer" she says "our little boy had dys
entery.' At that time we were living
in the country eight miles from a
doctor. Our son was taken ill sudden
ly and was about the sickest child I
ever saw. Ho was lu terrible pain
ull the time and passed from one con
vulsion into another. I sent my hns
baud for the doctor and after he was
Bono thought of a bottle of Chamber
lain's Colic and Diarrhoea Remedy In
the cupboard. I gave him some of It
and he began to improve at once. By
the time the doctor arrived he was out
;f denser."
