Monday evening a student body
meeting was held for the purpose of
electing new officers for the coming
semester. The following were elected:

given Saturday night was the best

Dr. Richtner addressed the girls of
the school Monday forenoon on the
"Double Standard of Morals." Dr.
Richtner was sent by the government
during the war to speak to the girls
of the schools and now is being sent
out for the same purpose by the Ore
gon Social Hygiene society. Dr. Grant
accompanied Dr. Richtner and ad
dressed th boys.
Friday afternoon the directois of
the school held a meeting in tin
basement .

grown by a Nyssa, Oregon, farmer.
For neveral years he had his seed
tested at the federal and agricultural
college seed testing laboratory and
found it very satisfactory. Following
the suggestions of the farm crops de
partment he got seed from various
sources until he found one lot quite
pure. This he seeded In well cleaned
fields, a sample of the crop analyzing
100 per cent pure In a college test
last week. A second sample analyzed
ItS per cent weed-free. The entire
1919 crop was practically weed fres
