The Kugene Salvation Army corps
state that the contributions In the
Salvation Army kettles, this year, for
the Christmas and general relief
work, were more than double that o
any previous year, the sum of $433.71
being given. Of this amount Spring
field contributed $48.97.
Christmas basket dinners were
given out In both Springfield and Eu
gene to over 40 families, also some
200 presents were given to children
Included in both places.
