Ford, aged 74. died of apoplexy Sunday arterooon at Ore gon City, as he was about to board a street car near the site of the Methodist church of which he had once been pastor. Dr. Ford was dis trict superintendent of the Salem dis trict. and formerly held the same position In the Eugene district, and Is well known in Springfield.
