The Weldon family arrived last night and intend to reside In Spring field. Jensen Writes Word received from Reverend Chris H. Jensen, who left Springfield a week ago to enter the Second Officers Training Camp at the Presidio at San Francisco states that ho has reg istered, received his uniform and tho bedding which each man is allotted. He says that the men had to stand In line four hours last Saturday to register. Logging Operations Suspended On account of tho dry weathor tho Fischer-Boutin logging camps at Rich ardson on tho Sluslaw have been closed for a week. The small streams used In tho logging operations havo dried up causing tho suspension. Oth er means will now bo om ployed and it isexpocted that loglng operations will bo resumed again In a few days.
