Warren Price had quite an accident yesterday while motoring over to the Fair grounds. Just as he went to turn a corner another car turned at the same time and In order to avoid a col lision Mr. Price steered his car upon the curbing and was stopped by a telephone pole. The damage to tho car was considerable, but none of the passengers were injured. Five of the Marcola high school girls left Friday morning for the fair where they entered the cooking contest. They returned that night feeling happy over having won first prize. Those taking part in the contest were: The Misses Lela Hennis, Lottie McMurry, Jennio Turner, Pearl Sullivan and Audrey Lewis.
