Three loads of pulp fed steers went at 7.75 and about six loads of hay fed sold at 7.35. Cows remained on a steady basis with last week market steady. A very light run of 3,500 head of swine came to a stronger market this week the top benig S.25. Other loads of quality hogs went at S.20. This price makes North Portland the highest market in the United States to day for prime light hogs. Mar ket closed steady. Lambs sold at 9.00, ewes at 7.00, yearlings at 8.00.
