Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie
Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3612. Bids will be
opened publicly at that time.
The expansion joint on the roof over Ginkoberry
Concourse has failed and water is entering the facility.
With the space being renovated below the expansion
joint, we need to ensure that this repair is made prior to
the space being renovated to prevent further damage.
The Contractor awarded this project will provide all la-
bor and materials required to perform the work as de-
scribed in the ITB, including but not limited to:
• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Demo area to be repaired
• Install seismic joint as per manufacturer’s written
installation instructions including, but not limited
to:
• Provide weather tight seismic assembly and
tie-in to existing barriers.
• Provide warrantable installation on all assem-
blies.
• Work with owner, manufacturer and design team
to implement design and detail transitions and
terminations .
A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all
potential prime and sub-contractors January 28,
2019, at 8:00am at Oregon Convention Center MLK
Lobby. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program,
Contractors that submit a bid for this project must so-
licit a sub-bid from all COBID certified businesses who
attend the pre-bid conference.
Solicitation documents can be viewed and
downloaded from the Oregon Procurement
Information Network (ORPIN) at
<http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll>.
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole
or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substan-
tial rights if such action is deemed in the public inter-
est.

specifically encourages minority, women-owned and
emerging small businesses to access and participate
in this and all Metro projects, programs and services.

ployment based on race, color, national origin, sex,
