Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Port-
land, OR has opening for Epic Business Intelligence
Specialist. The duties include but are not limited
to: governance & technical expertise for Reporting
Workbench (RWB) & Radar. Maintain classes &
assignments for the secure operation and audit
utilization of RWB & Radar. Collaborate with others to
define standard for dashboards, components, &
reports. Serve as a technical resource for end users
and triage issues as required. Provide administration
of Epic analytics. Develop & implement Epic
Datalink. Create reports using a combination of tools
in Cognos Analytics, Crystal Reports, Webi, Oracle
PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc. Use admin tools to schedule &
monitor reporting delivery and/or data in Business
Objects, Cognos Scheduler, Oracle Job scheduler,
and/or Microsoft SSIS. Respond to & track issues
using Service Manager. Validate data in the data
warehouse & investigate problems. Attend training as
appropriate. Reqs.: MS in Computer Science or
related field. Experience must include the following
skills: System Development methodology in at least
the Reqs & Development phases. Epic Certification in
RWB & RADAR, EpicCare Ambulatory & Inpatient
clinical workflows & associated Clarity Data Models,
SQL coding & developing reporting solutions in the
Crystal reporting tool. Structured reqs gathering.
Standard System Development Lifecycle methodol-
ogy (SDLC); Analysis & design. Report development
using tools RWB, Crystal, Cognos Report Studio,
SQL; Report Solution design & documentation.
Testing techniques & execution. Change manage-
ment methodology & process. Training documenta-
tion & delivery of training to customers. Solution
Implementation process. Business Applications:
Healthcare Epic; Reporting Tools: Epic Clarity/RWB,
Cognos Report Studio, Crystal Report Writer, SQL.
