INVITATION FOR BIDS
TIMBER WATER DISTRICT
PROJECT #2016-002
SECTION 00100 - TIMBER RESERVOIR
Sealed bids marked with “BID ENCLOSED” for the
construction of the Timber Reservoir for the Timber
Water District, Washington County, Oregon (Owner)
will be received by HBH Engineers, 2316 Portland
Rd., Suite H, until 2:00pm (Pacific Time), on
December 7, 2016 by hand delivery and mail. Bids
received after this time will not be accepted.
The work under this Contract will include the supply
and erection of a new bolted epoxy-coated steel
55,000 - 75,000 gallon (depends on bid alternative
selected) potable water tank including structural
design, foundation, tank floor, tank structure,
epoxy-coated steel roof, cathodic protection, tank
appurtenances, related piping, and site preparation
as shown on the contract drawings.
One copy of the Bidding documents, including
specifications and half size drawings, may be
obtained from the Engineer’s design office with a
non-refundable payment of $100.00 per set payable
to HBH Consulting Engineers. Digital project bidding
documents are also available for $60.00. Interested
parties may download the digital plan documents at
<www.hbh-consulting.com>, by clicking on the “Bid
Docs” icon in the upper right-hand corner of the
webpage.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held
for this project on December 1 at 11:00am at the
project site in Timber. The site has no address, but is
located off of a dirt road north of NW Timber Rd as
shown on the plans.
This contract is subject to Federal Davis Bacon and
Prevailing wage rates for public works' contracts in
Oregon.
The project described in this Invitation to bids is
being funded in whole or in part with funding from the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
through the Washington County Office of Community
Development CDBG program. Minority Business
Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise contractors
and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit a
proposal. Before a contract can be awarded,
contractor must provide a current SAM registration,
and DUNS number. Affirmative steps must be taken
to assure that emerging small, minority and
women-owned businesses and firms are used when
possible as sources of supplies, equipment,
construction and services.
