The Parks and Nature Department of Metro, a
metropolitan service district organized under the laws
of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located
at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736,
is requesting proposals for appraisal services.
Sealed proposals are due no later than 2:00pm,
April 21, 2016, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE
Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention:

Metro is seeking proposals from qualified Real
Property Appraisers for the Metro Natural Areas
Program. The intent of this RFP is to provide Metro
with a list of qualified firms to provide “on call”
services relating to the appraisal of real property to be
acquired by Metro.

The City of Vancouver (the City) is seeking Request for Proposals from experienced Job Order Contracting firms to
provide, on an as-needed basis, general construction services/work, which must be performed in accordance with the
City’s Job Order Contracting program.
Request for proposal packets may be examined at Vancouver City Hall, Customer Service Desk, 1st floor lobby, 415
W. 6th Street, Vancouver, Washington 98660. Request for Proposal packets may be obtained from the Builder’s
Exchange of Washington website at <http://bxwa.com>. Click on Posted Projects, Goods and Services, City of
Vancouver and Projects Bidding links. These are available for viewing, downloading and printing on your own

advised that USPS deliveries requiring a signature may not be delivered in a timely manner as our receiving point is not

2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary,
Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such
Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this
advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises, as defined in 49 CFR part 26, will be afforded full opportunity to
submit qualification statements in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of
race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award.
All responses shall be placed in a sealed envelope, which is clearly marked “RFP# 43-15: JOB ORDER CONTRACT
SERVICES FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION.” Responses by E-MAIL or FAX will not be accepted.

The City of Vancouver reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all responses submitted or to waive
any minor formalities of this call if the best interest of the City would be served.
No respondent may withdraw their response after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is
delayed for a period exceeding ninety days (90) days.
It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to learn of Addendum, if any. Such information may be obtained from the
Builder’s Exchange of Washington (BXWA) web site, <http://bxwa.com>. Click on Posted Projects, Public Works, City
of Vancouver and Projects Bidding links; however the sole responsibility for obtaining and learning of Addendum
belongs to the Bidder. The City of Vancouver accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to
bidders who fail to check for addendums and submit inadequate or incorrect responses.
Contractor shall register and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Homeland
Security E-Verify program within sixty (60) days after execution of this Agreement. Contractor shall ensure all Contractor
employees and any sub-contractor(s) assigned to perform work under this Agreement are eligible to work in the United
States. Contractor shall provide verification of compliance upon City request. Failure by Contractor to comply with this
subsection shall be considered a material breach.
