decade, Choi has explored the expressive

“Kizuna: The Rebirth
of Mashiko Ceramics”

(Tue-Sun), Portland Japanese Garden (611 SW

Rebirth of Mashiko Ceramics,” a new exhibit by
13 artists at the Portland Japanese Garden. The
2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami
devastated the historic Japanese pottery town
of Mashiko, but it did not destroy the spirit of its
