Van Nguyen, a senior at Franklin High School, is the
daughter of Hai Nguyen and Nguc Ly. Van is a member of
the Key Club, Red Cross Club, and Stop the Trade, served
as vice president of the Vietnamese Club, and has
volunteered for Kaiser Permanente. Her extracurricular
activities have included preparation for and performance
at her school’s multicultural assembly, teaching
Vietnamese to youth through the language school at her
church, and more. After graduation, Van plans to study
nursing.
