The event will be held Thursday, April 17 at northeast Portland’s TAO Event Center. Attendees are urged to buy their tickets soon, as the ticket order deadline is Monday, April 14 at 5:00pm. Community elders and organizations will be honored and nearly two dozen students will receive scholarship awards at the event. Other features include an eight-course dinner, cultural entertain- ment, a silent auction, and gift bags. The event begins at 5:30pm with a social hour. The banquet program starts at 6:30pm and a dinner catered by Wong’s King Seafood Restaurant is served at 6:45pm. Dancing begins at 9:00pm. Individual banquet tickets, which in- clude dinner, are $50. Community tables seating eight people are available for $400 and corporate-sponsored tables are $1,000 each.
