by Fred Meyer, who started the chain of Pacific
Northwest-based retail stores that bears his name.
The Meyer Memorial Trust was the largest private
foundation in the Pacific Northwest until 1995; today,
with assets of approximately $775 million, it is still
among the largest foundations in the nation. The
Trust’s mission is to work with and invest in

The Trust seeks a Chief Investment Officer who will
be responsible for leading the overall investment
activities of the Trust to maximize long-term total
