Mace re p o rts th a t 929 of the 1000 tag h olders hunted, and of this n u m b er 586 m ade kills. A l though only 109 of the group h u n ted in M alheur county, they re p o rt th e highest success with 82 of them rep o rtin g kills and only 27 M alheur county h u n ters rep o rtin g no kills. L a k e county was h u n ted the h eav iest w ith 304 kills rep o rted an d 191 rep o rtin g no kills. The re p o rts from those h u n tin g in H arn ey county show ed 196 kills and 125 who w ere unsuccessful.
