Quamme Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeClerck, Jr., who are attending school in Sacramento, were visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dun away and Mr. and Mrs. Henry DeClerck, Sr. Misses Audrey and Annabel Graves, who are attending Chico State College, were home for the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Graves and sis ter Rosalie. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ohlund 1 drove to Klamath Falls over the I weekend to visit their son and I family. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Baumgar- 1 tner were visiting friends in Yreka Saturday. All Cub Scouts and their parents were invited. Awards were given to the Cub Scouts at the Party. Before the party, Cub Master Luper and Den Chief Stickney took the Cubs out for trick or treat. Returning, Den Chief opened the meeting by the Pledge of Scripter and McKeever Allegiance to the Flag and the Cub Law. Den mother Virginia Luper had the cubs unmask and ON THE PLAZA called the roll. The Cub master welcomed the parents and issued out awards as follows: Wolf Badges: Robert Black and one Gold Arrow; Richard Dragoo and one Gold Arrow and two Silver Arrows; Johnnie Fog- at the party. Marshall - Wells Store Eastside Meat Market Laura Eleanor Hayes, 62, a resident of Ashland for 6 weeks, passed away early Sunday mor ning after an extended illness. Miss Hayes was bom on Oct. 2, 1887, at Caledonia, N. Y. and was a registered nurse by pro fession. Her remains are being taken •to Enterprise, Oregon, her home , town, by the Litwiller Funeral Home, where services will be j held later in the week at the Booth Funeral Home. Lulu Anna Reaves Dies In Talent Lulu Anna Reaves, 53, a resi dent of Talent and Medford for the last 15 years, passed away Thursday morning at her home in Talent. Mrs. Reaves was born on Oct. 25, 1896, at Pleasant Lake, Mich, and while quite young her fam ily moved to Oklahoma where she received her education and taught school for some time In 1916 she was united in mar r i a g e to H. H. White, and they came to Medford in 1934, where their son and daughter had their schooling, and graduated from high school. Mr. White pas sed away in February, 1927. In 1941 she was united in marriage to C. E. Reaves, and she had resided in Talent since then. She is survived by her hus band, a son Harl M. White of Medford, a daughter, Mrs. Wan da Crowl of Cave Junction, a sister, Mrs. Leona Little of Jacksonville, and eight grand children. Services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Litwil- le Funeral Home. Interment fol lowed at Logtoon Cemetery near Ruch.
