Ray recently broke his thumb when a board dropped on it while he was working at the Timber Products Company. Mrs. Tom Caster underwent an operation at the Community Hos­ pital, spending gone week there and returned Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Parr left this week for Vallejo, Calif, where they will pack fruit. Mr. and Mrs. Olen Barlow have been on a trip to Mount Lassen Park and are returning via Crescent City. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thomp­ son recently visited Mrs. Thomp­ son’s mother, Mrs. John Towns- ley in Milwalkee, Oregon for four days. Marie Furry is in Coos Bay to attend a Postmasters convention.
