A ustin requesting ac tion or. his offer, m ade at th at time. to rehabilitate the golf course, and to p u t up a club house. K inder stated th at but a short tim e rem ained in order to get buildings up and areas seed ed before the seasonal rains set in. This would perm it the course to be ready for occupancy next spring. I Possible snags in the proposed ' plan could be th at K inder would not accept the type of lease of fered him by the city, or th a t the city would not be able to furnish w ater and piping for the course. The golf course has lain idle for several years. An effort to revive it two years ago fell flat w hen not enough m oney could be rais ed among local golf enthusiasts to put the course back in shape. Several local people bought c h a r ter m em berships in the golf course at this tim e in an attem pt to recreate the sport but the a- mount raised was not enough to complete the job.
