Candidates fo r adm ission m ust never have been m arried, and must be bonafide residents o f the F ourth D istrict. As o f the date of entrance in to the Academies, J u ly 1, 1950, appointees m ust be 17 years of age. The m a xim um ages are 21 and 22 respectively.
