lambs for a Persian lamb coat in
five years.
According to Valley Hall, Dayton
(Ohio) breeder, American farm s
are the source of about half of
Persian lamb fu r used in the
United States: Persia also has
Karakul sheep which bear Persian
lamb fu r and K arakul wool for
weaving, but does not export the
fur to this country.
