Reed stated that the work would be completed by the mid die of June. Local labor is to be used on the job. The reservoir is located on hill southeast of the city. The pro­ perty has been purchased from Ira H alt An eight inch main will carry the water from the reser­ voir to the city. The drop is 173 feet from the storage reservoir to the city, giving a dynamic head of 173 feet. City council of Cave Junction let the contract for the work and material l a s t Wednesday. A l­ though the water supply will be adequate, it Is expected that a- nother series of wells will have to be developed as the commun­ ity grows.
