Sponsored by the Elks and the Ashlund Kiwunis club the affair was a success, judged from the expressions of the children who received sacks of candy and treats. Harry Skerry, Fritz. Koester, and the Rev Earl Downing, had charge of various features of the program according to Bert Mil ler, president of the Klwanls club. The mem bers of the Klwanis club and their wives sacked 1200 sacks of candy and treats at a party Saturday night at the Civic club.
