The roof was badly damaged and some d a m age from w ater was also sustain ed. Aiso Saturday afternoon, fire men were calk'd to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. M erritt at 1296 Iowa street to quell a blaze started when a pan of hot grease overturned on the stove. Little damage was reported by the fire men.
