Pugsley, 67, who re sided southeast of Ashland on Highway 99, died at his home Tuesday morning, June 15, after an illness of four months. He had been in the hospital and after his retu rn home suffered a relapse. His birthplace was Parker, South Dakota, where he was born October 21, 1880, the son of Eug- ene and Flora Brown Pugsley. He was a World War I veteran and had followed the trade of m achinist until he retired. He had resided here nine months. Survivors include his wife, Florence; two sons, Laurence, Redondo Beach, Cali f o r n i Charles, M anhatten Beach, Cali I fornia; two brothers.
