Bruce Sm ith Chosen The pre-legislative assemblies are being held over the state to instruct the students in p a rlia ­ m entary procedure and also to elect senators and state officers such as the governor, the Speaker of the House. Each assembly e l­ ects one of these. At the meeting held here February 22, the s tu ­ dents elected P at Zuspan of Med­ ford as Speaker of the House, and several of the senators in ­ cluding Bruce Sm ith and the rest will act as representatives. Each club m ade up a bill on some subject they would like to see passed and then send it in to the Mack session and then things will be handled ju st as a regular session would take place Any bills passed will be in use for two days.
