Homeroom teachers are urg­
ing their students to bring in
gifts for Jr. Red Cross boxes.
These boxes will be sent over
seas for presents to the children
there.
Candidates for the Carnival
queen have been chosen from
each grade and include Judy
Briggs, seventh grade, Bernadine
Nicholson, eighth grade, and
Nonna Kulpaca ninth grade. The
carnival will be held December
13th and tickets will go on sale
soon. Each ticket will entitle the
purchaser to ten votes for one
of the candidates and will cost
five cents. It also entitles them
to participate at various conces­
sions. Later in the evening the
queen will be announced and
the other girls will act as maids
of honor.
