The AMERICAN WAY
À
On this Armistice Day we feel it is fitting to call at
tention to the American way of life and to remind citi
zens of this community that this envied style and stan-
uai cl oi living remains preserved by the sacrifices of the
men who served in the armed forces of the United
states. Men of this community and every city in the
land fought valiantly for our country which they held
dearer than life.
i oi our history is not a time for weakness,
of two great wars in a single generation
us of the terrible cost of being unprepared.
Aimistice Day, 1941, is a fitting occasio
ing the American people of the need for
morale, well-trained and well-equipped,
forces. It is a time for doing honor not i
who made sacrifices in two world wars,
whose mission it is to prevent a third.
