New Heating Idea
The radiant baseboard, consisting
of a hollow unit through which hot
water is circulated, is one of the
new est and m ost significant devel­
opments in the heating industry. It
takes the place of the conventional

Flying Like * Bird
Flying equipment which can be
strapped to an individual has won a
patent for the Connecticut inventor.
Application for the helicopter flying
apparatus was filed in 1943. It en­
ables the wearer to fly from 125 to
850 m iles at 100 to 200 m iles per
hour. Landing can ba made with or
without a parachute.
