Opening night audience at the
first of the revived Shapespear-
ean Festival plavs will see “H am ­
let" with Frank Lam brett-Sm ith,
in the title role, Friday at the
new stage in the C hautauqua
shell.
Saturday night “Love’s L ab­
our’s Lost,” will be presented.
There is no play scheduled for
Sunday. Monday evening "M ac­
beth” will be the production and
this will be followed Tuesday by
“The M erchant of Venice.”
The plays begin a t 8:30 p.m.
each evening and prices for tick ­
ets are $1.50 plus tax. Tickets
are obtainable at either the box
office or the offices of the C ham ­
ber of Commerce.
Included in the cast of Hamlet,
is Smith, who also directed the
production. William Tobin, Eddy
