The cockroach is killed by coming in contact with the dust, so every pos sible hiding place of the roach must be thoroughly treated. Make sure that all food and cooking utensils have been covered before you apply the dust. Then force it into the cracks, behind cupboards, wall- boards, under sinks, and through out cabinets. National Forests Grow The government national forests Include 73 million acres capable of growing commercial timber. They contain one-third of the national saw-timber stand. Being managed for continuous timber production, they have supplied in recent years about 10 per cent of the nation's yearly lumber cut. Eventually their total sustained-yield output of tim ber can be more than doubled. • Hemorrhoids B o eta l a n d C olon A ilm o n to O aotrit Ultor Treated without Hospital Operation Write or call for FREE deocriptlva Booklet Afoadsy through Friday: 10 A. Cotton Heat Resistant Cotton has excellent resistance to the heat encountered in general service. Its fabrics and garments are usually washed at 180 degrees to 200 degrees, dried at tempera tures ranging from 200 degrees to 250 degrees, and pressed with a 400 degree iron. The boiling of cotton garments and household fabrics is still a routine weekly practice with tens of thousands of families. They can be ironed with the assurance that they will hold their shape, as eotton does not melt, shrink or stretch when Ironed. The sweetish taste of some of the dental prepara tions make a strong appeal to the youngsters who have been starving for sweets for seven years. Re cently the American Red Cross dis tributed dental paste to the school children at Kouvola. On their way home the little ones grew curious about the foreign gifts, tasted the scented contents and liked the paste so much that the tubes soon were empty. Candy to Them
