One of the best ways o f dealing w ith the heat is to have lig h t-w e ig h t suits and sk irts w ith w hich to w ear cool organdie or batiste blouses, made fro s ty looking w ith c ris p lace o r em broidered osgandie. You can plan to have several of these on hand so that there w ill alw ays be one fre sh ly laundered ready to put on at a m om ent's notice. Now th a t organdie and oth e r lig h t- w eignt m a te ria ls are back on the m a rk e t, it's a sim ple m a tte r to plan to do yo u r own sewing on them and have several blouses fo r the p rice o f one. P atterns and laces are a v a ila b le again in gre a t v a rie ty , so there's a blouse fo r e ve ry figure and every purse—i f you m ake yo u r own. I f you have only one su it w hich you w ant to w ear w ith several blouses, do select styles o f blouses th a t are becoming w ith the neckline of the suit. Or. if you have sep a rate s k irts w ith w hich you w ant blouses, then do select blouses styles th a t are e x tre m e ly becom ing to you. Should you run to the heavy fig u re type, stay away fro m organdie and use m a te ria l such as batiste o r d im ity th a t do not m ake you look quite so fu ll blown. Around them you can b u ild a lu n ch eon m enu th a t w ill be both eye- appealing and tasty. P lan to do m ost o f the cooking ahead of tim e so you w o n 't be ru ffle d by the tim e the guests begin to come in. I f you w ant to serve a nice m eat dish you m ig h t lik e to s ta rt off w ith a stuffed la m b chop, fo llo w it w ith a tom ato aspic o r tossed salad and aspuragus, then top off w ith s tra w b e rrie s and cream . 'Stuffed I.amb Chops. 4 double-thick la m b chops 2 canned peaches 1 cup crushed pineapple *4 cup soft bread crum bs *4 cup b u tte r or substitute D row n la m b chops in s k ille t on both sides. Toss together finely chopped peaches. pineapple, breud j ? ’ cru m b s and b u t te r. P ile on top o f 1 chops w hich have 1 been placed in a casserole. Bake in a m oderate (350-degree) oven fo r 20 m inutes. Asparagus V in a ig re tte . (Serves 4) t 3 tablespoons vinegar 1 teaspoon sa lt !4 teaspoon p a p rika ’,4 cup salad o il 1 tablespoon m inced parsley 1 tablespoon chopped p ickle I tablespoon m inced chives I bunch asparagus (1 pound) C om bine seasonings, add vinegar and salad o il. Beat u n til th ic k and smooth. Add re m a in in g ingredients and le t stand fo r ‘4 hour. Clean as paragus and cook in b o ilin g salted w a te r u n til tender. Heat sauce and serve over asparagus. A lu x u ry luncheon fo r special guests uses both chicken and ham in the m ain dish. However, you can keep the rest o f the luncheon cost down by se rvin g s im p ly a tossed salad and a rh u b a rb com pote fo r dessert. C hicken D gl.uxe. (Serves 4) 4 thick slices ham 4 breasts of chicken, cooked 4 tablespoons m elted b u tte r 4 tablespoons flour 2 cups ric h chicken stock and m ilk com bined 1 teaspoon salt ',4 teaspoon pepper Whole sauteed m ushroom s A rra n g e breast o f chicken on top of ham slices.
