O. Box 513 A shland, Oregon And this is the type of cleaning that keeps the residen 3 6 4t tial area nice looking. Ashland is a city of lovely residential areas. We’re sure that during this spring clean-up campaign Mrs. Housewife will more than do her part. We’d like to suggest, if it hasn’t been considered al ready, that the farms in the farming areas about Ash land be included in the project and that a prize be given for the farm showing the greatest improvement in clean, well kept, yards, and house and barn area, dur ing the week that the campaign is on. Ashland is a farming community and the farms which are an important industry to this community have a stake in the activities of the community. Clean-Up week is as applicable to the farming com munity as it is to the urban area. Frightened?
