fr u it w ith sugar, cream , syrup, or
sny other h ig h ly c a lo ric foods.

sweetening, in puddings o r in cakes.

'Lemon Baked Apples.
(Serves 61.
6 medium sized apples
»4 cup granulated, brown or
maple sugar or honey
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter or substi­
tute
Nuts and raisins (optional)
Wash and core apples. Place in a

the perm anent stitch in g , as there
should be no slip-ups w hich w ill
