Final rites w ere conducted for
Mrs. A m anda C herry, S atu rd ay
afternoon at the F irst M ethodist
church, by the Rev. G. W Bruce
Mrs. S h erry passed aw ay last
T hursday, October 10, 1946 at her
home. On S eptem ber 15 th she
| had celebrated her 97th birthday.
She was born at Irondale, M iss­
ouri, and was m arried to John
W orth C herry on D ecem ber 18.
1877, who preceded her in death
N ovem ber 6, 1910.
Mr. and Mrs. C herry w ere the
parents of seven children, four of
whom su rvive her; Mrs. Viola
P earse of S anta Rosa, C alifornia;
Sam C h erry ,of M ontague, Cali-J
fornia; G rover C herry of Corning,
| C alifornia and Mrs. Ruby M erritt
! of B aker, Oregon. Also seven
grandchildren, nine great grand-
| children and four great, great
I grandchildren.
