Great Salt Lake in Utah is nearly
six times as salty as the ocean.

the total labor force was employed

Stretching Butter
Butter can be stretched by whip

commercial si. tchers such as gel

Stretched butter
should not be used for cooking.
Clover Land
Clovers won’t do well on deep,
coarse sand, acid or wet land. They
don’t like poor land and they can’t
stand wet feet. On the other hand,
they respond well to phosphate and
to potash, and usually they’ll do well
on drained upland pasture.
Permanent Mirage
There’s a permanent mirage at
Dry Lake, six miles west of Will
cox, Ariz. From the highway miles
off, the motorist can see a great
body of “dry water” on a clear
day.
Pueblo Ruins
Explorers have found some 500
ruins of ancient Indian pueblos on
the south and north rims jf the
Grand canyon in Arizona. Today
four Indian tribes still live in the
region of the canyon.
