The fact that a young returned veteran is working hard to establish
i business for himself and does not feel that he has the time to spend
>n municipal affairs is not a legitimate reason for a n u n ’s refusal to

"If you want to get something done, ask a busy man to do it, is
i well known maxim. A young man who is busy building a home and
i business in Ashland should also busy himself with the affairs of the
.¡vie municipality, for after all his home and his business will be no
better than his city.
If this community is to grow and expand as it’s promise indicates,
it needs must have men of vision, ideals, and forthrightness in the
governmental positions.

That young men should take a more established part in civic attairs
nd community government has long been a well accepted thesis.
That they do is something else again.
This community will soon elect three councilman. Somewhere within
his city are three young men who should consider it their duty to the
