WHEREAS, May 5th to May
12th is National Music Week,
when special stress is laid upon
the great blessing of music, one
of God’s great gifts to mankind,
lifting the soul to noble aspira­
tions and encouraging the heart
in worship; and
WHEREAS, music brightens
the skies and strengthens the soul
of man; and
WHEREAS, it is highly fitting
that we observe Music Week in
the study of good music, and con­
template the great blessing that
is ours and join Heaven’s har­
mony with a song in our hearts
