operator's license.

on the sick list the past week,
and unable to appear at his office.
The Ashland Extension Unit is
asking for contributions of m ater­
ial. money and labor in their job
of making comforters for ship­
m ent to the w ar torn areas Mem­
bers of the Unit are working in
the basem ent at the Library and
have already made several com­
forters. Their goal is to provide
15 by the end of this month. A ny­
one interested in helping may get
in touch with the members, and
arrangem ents can be made to take
