Youth For Christ
Rally Saturday Eve
The Youth tor Christ Rally,
sponsored by several Ashland
churches, plans to resume their
series of rallies and have schedul­
ed one for this Saturday, J a n u ­
ary 12, to be held at the Church
of Christ at 2nd and B| Streets.
The rallies were discontinued d u r­
ing the Christm as holidays, and
this is the first since the holidays
have passed.
The rally Saturday night will
feature local speakers, w ith Le­
land Linn, superintendent of
schools, E verett McGee, local
businessman and First Lieutenant
Carl Summe on the program. The
program will also include music
,iy a young peoples orchestra,
songs by a United choir, trum pet
and accordian solos and special
vocal num bers by the group.
The programs generally last
about 90 minutes, and the four
previously held have proven very
interesting. The public is invited
to attend these meetings.
