The first inspection was made for the prop o s e d cut through C street from North Pioneer street to the Plaza and an “aerial* view from the roof of the Oak Street Garage showed that such a proposed route would require the cutting off of some 15 feet from the annex at the Ash land Hotel, and the removal of two houses on the alley between North Pioneer and Oak street and building occupied by the Whittle Transfer Company, in order to continue C street on through to the Plaza. The street would enter the Plaza along side of the Ford garage. Following the discussion on this, the group next inspected the proposed truck by-pass along the railroad tracks, sturting at the proposed start of the street op posite the Putman auto camp to Hetman street. Most of this area is unoccupied and would entail a minimum of trouble in remov ing buildings, etc. From Helman street, the proposed street would cross the creek area to enter A street at the Frideger Grocery warehouse, following A street to Eighth and then angling across town to come into the Pacific Highway at the Klamath Junc tion. During the day, various phases of the Plaza project were discus sed, since early completion of that project is slated by the state highway department.
